What this site is
Baghchaal.com exists to do three things well: teach the game clearly, honour where it comes from, and get you playing — against the computer right here, or against real people online.
Everything on the site is written for a first-time visitor. If you arrived knowing nothing but the name, the Rules page will have you playing in five minutes, the Strategy page will make you dangerous, and the History page will tell you why this little grid of lines matters so much to so many people.
